The HOA is actively working to prepare the neighborhood pool to OPEN on Friday, May 23th, 2025 and is looking for volunteers to assist with pressure washing the pool deck, pool furniture, and sidewalks at their convenience. We also need assistance with weed control/landscape clean-up, restrooms cleaned, and general maintenance to meet Health Regulations before the pool can be officially opened to the community. If anyone is able to assist in the coming weeks on your own schedule, please contact Brent Ball (Chair of the Pool Committee) at 865-804-1818 or Jason Dennison (Chair Landscaping Committee) at 865-748-6384. If anyone has, and is willing to loan a pressure washer for those who may not have one, please let the board know as well. Without volunteers, we will need to hire a professional company with the HOA Funds before the pool opens. All families are encouraged to sign up for a week of cleaning beginning on Monday’s and ending on Sunday’s. Please sign up at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/30E0F4EAAAC22AAF49-56083265-weekly to schedule your week. Unfortunately, the Pool will NOT be open on weeks in which we do not have volunteers listed to clean the pool during the pool season. We always enjoy this time of year and want to ask out neighbors using the community pool to continue doing your part in keeping the pool a clean and safe environment. It is important that the cleanliness of the pool and pool grounds are regularly maintained in accordance with the standard operating procedures which are attached. Pool users are also encouraged to assist with cleaning the pool grounds even if they are not specifically assigned for that week to help ensure a safe and fun summer. We would also like to remind you that the pool is open to neighbors of all ages so please respect all residents who use the pool and abide by the pool rules and regulations. Thank you and have a FUN and SAFE SUMMER... As always, if you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact us.

Phase II Opening from COVID 19
Update April 27, 2020: Quoted from Knox County Health Dept. Dear Public Swimming Pool Operators, The County Mayor and City Mayor shared their joint Community Strategy for a Phased Reopening of Knox County on April 27, 2020. As stated by the plan, permitted public swimming pools in Knox County will remain closed during Phase One. The Community Strategy for a Phased Reopening document can be found here Community Strategy for Phased Reopening. Phase One will begin May 1, 2020 and will last for a minimum of 28 days. During each phase, the Knox County Health Department will use a number of benchmarks outlined in the plan to determine when and how to proceed through the reopening process. Regarding as to when public swimming pools may be able to reopen, we cannot give you a date at this time as the length of Phase One is dependent upon how COVID-19 progresses in our community in the next month.
Update April 3, 2020: Quoted from Knox County Health Dept. Dear Public Swimming Pool Operators: As you are aware, Knox County Health Department Director Dr. Martha Buchanan issued a Safer at Home Order on March 23, 2020. This order instructed all citizens to stay home and practice physical distancing, along with practicing good personal hygiene, to aid in reducing the spread of COVID-19. On March 31, the Governor implemented a statewide Executive Order that is very similar to Knox County’s Safer at Home Order. As allowed under the Governor’s Executive Order, we are providing more stringent local guidance in Knox County to safeguard our community, based on the local situation and utilizing local data. In keeping with our efforts, all public swimming pools in Knox County are temporarily closed until further notice.
