Meeting Minutes

Meeting - May 28, 2006

Meeting was called to order by Russ Woolard

Julie Beeler mentioned if anyone was interested in me scheduling the
monthly dessert and ice cream socials during warm weather and wanted
feedback from the neighbors (nobody said anything).

Julie Beeler also noted that I would be glad to arrange meals for anyone in the neighborhood who had been
ill/had a baby/had surgery, but people must contact me personally.

Kent Baker talked about the finances.

  •     $3,614.87 in the account.

  •     We expect $675.00 in dues for people not paid for Q1 and Q2.

  •     One household has not paid for Q1 and 8 households have not paid for Q2.

  •     Expenses for Q1 were $677.35 and $5,668.82 for Q2 (as of 5/28/06).

  •     Estimated expenses remaining for Q2 are $1,983.00.

  •     This leaves an estimated balance of $2,306.87 on 6/30/06.

  •     We will have Q3 billing in July which has an increase of $4,425.00

  •     Expected expenses for Q3 are $6,007.00 leaving an estimated balance of $724.00 on 9/30/06.

  •     We will have Q4 billing in October which has an increase of $4,425.00.

  •     Expected expenses for Q4 are $2,600.00 leaving an estimated balance of $2,549.00 on 12/31/06.

Kent Baker talked about what is available on the website (www.teaguesgrove.com).

Kent Baker talked about Neighborhood Watch

It was asked if there were anymore incidents on the mail theft girl.  None to report as of 5/28/06.

There is also an incident report on the website that can be filled out and will be emailed to the whole subdivision.

Kent Baker talked about code lock to be put on the swimming pool gate to keep people out who do not live in Teagues Grove.  One estimate was $1,658.00 (installed) and the second estimate was $920.00 (uninstalled).  Kent will continue to get estimates.  A concern was brought up that how would a code be different from a key to prevent unwanted visitors.  It was mentioned that the code can be changed at anytime without the expense of changing a lock and re-issuing keys to 59 households.  It was also talked about after the meeting that maybe if each household had their own code this might prevent codes from leaking out.  Any concerns or questions should be directed on the feedback form on the website.

The Leash Law was brought up to remind everyone that there is a Leash Law in Knox County.

Russ Woolard mentioned that we would meet somewhere with a large room to accommodate enough people from the neighborhood to talk about the Covenants/Restriction modifications.

Meeting was adjourned by Russ Woolard.
